Last year LOOK launched the first long weave carbon pedal. Not content to sit back, this year the bar has been raised by bringing that high performance technology down to lower prices. The brand new bench mark of the Keo standard has been increased to cover 6 price points from £249 to 39.99. With regards the frames, 2006 is going to be an awesome year. The 'Bike of the Year' (Cycling Weekly, Aug, 2005) the 585, has got a new brother in the 565. Its shares many of the same features such as geometry and construction but with an aluminium bottom bracket. A brand new direction for LOOK in 2006 is the 496Tri, a full-blown, no compromise triathlon frame. Using the Gold medal winning 496 track frame platform but with triathlon specific features and spec it's going to cause a real stir, not to mention knock minutes off of your PB's!
